Admissions: common questions
When do admissions open?
There are two intakes each year - one in January and one in July. Applications for each typically open at the start of the cycle and stay open for about two months. Ask a counsellor for the exact closing date of the current cycle.
Is there an entrance exam?
Generally no. Admission is based on your previous qualification. The one exception is postgraduate applicants whose graduation marks fall below the required minimum, who may need to clear an admission test.
How long does the application take to process?
Once you have submitted your form and documents, verification is usually completed within a few working days. Your counsellor will tell you as soon as your application is accepted.
Can I apply if I am still in my final year?
Final-year students can usually apply for postgraduate programmes, but admission is confirmed only once you produce your graduation result. Confirm your position with a counsellor before applying.
What if my documents are in a regional language?
You will normally need a certified English translation alongside the original. A counsellor can tell you what is acceptable.
Can I change my programme after applying?
Changes are usually possible before your admission is confirmed. Speak to your counsellor as early as you can, because it gets harder once the cycle closes.
